CONTACT US

Activated carbon adsorption concentration desorption+catalytic combustion device is a waste gas treatment device that combines adsorption technology and thermal oxidation technology organically. It is mainly suitable for organic waste gases with low concentration and not suitable for direct combustion or catalytic combustion and adsorption recovery methods, especially for high air volume treatment sites.
Working process of activated carbon adsorption concentration desorption+catalytic combustion device
Working process one: After being pretreated by a dry filter, organic waste gas enters an activated carbon adsorption bed to adsorb organic solvents in the waste gas using the characteristics of activated carbon's multiple micropores and huge surface tension, thus purifying the discharged waste gas.
Working process 2: After the activated carbon is saturated with adsorption, the organic solvent adsorbed on the activated carbon is removed by hot gas flow according to the determined concentration ratio and sent to the catalytic combustion bed.
Working process three: The high concentration organic waste gas entering the catalytic combustion bed is further heated, and under the action of the catalyst, oxygen is decomposed and converted into CO2 and H2O. The heat released from the decomposition is recovered by the effect heat exchanger and used to preheat the high concentration organic waste gas entering the catalytic combustion bed.
After reaching self equilibrium within a certain operating time, the desorption and catalytic oxidation decomposition processes do not require external energy heating.
Composition of activated carbon adsorption concentration desorption+catalytic combustion device
The activated carbon adsorption concentration desorption+catalytic combustion device mainly consists of a catalytic combustion bed (composed of an electric heating chamber, a catalytic chamber, and a heat exchanger), a flame arrester, a temperature detector, corresponding electric valves, and insulation pipelines. The main function is to use the electric heater in the catalytic combustion bed to heat the waste gas generated by the production line, so that the organic waste gas is converted into CO2 and H2O at around 280-300 ℃ under the action of the catalyst and releases a large amount of heat. Heat is reused through a heat exchanger.
The control system mainly consists of PLC electrical control cabinet, temperature display instrument, electric valve actuator, and panel simulation flowchart. Its function is to control the opening and closing of valves in the pipeline during the working process. According to the requirements of the process conditions, control the start and stop of the electric heater, control the heating temperature of the catalytic bed, reaction temperature, inlet temperature of the gas flow, and outlet temperature of the gas flow. Alarm and automatic shutdown of abnormal situations during equipment operation. Signal exchange with the overall control system to achieve interactive connection.
The activated carbon adsorption concentration desorption+catalytic combustion device can adopt dual gas path continuous operation. When the workload is large, two adsorption beds are alternately switched. One catalytic combustion chamber first adsorbs the organic waste gas through one of the activated carbon adsorption beds to adsorb the waste gas in the airflow. When the activated carbon is almost saturated, the closed valves at both ends of the adsorption bed are closed at the same time, that is, the adsorption work is stopped, and the other adsorption bed automatically opens to take over the adsorption work. In this way, switching between two adsorption beds can achieve continuous operation with a large workload.
